Trusted by families across Raleigh and the Triangle area

If you are looking for preparation, clarity, and a calm presence during this season of your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Let’s talk about your birth plan.

core values

Care that honors your body, your voice, and your choices

Every family is unique.

My support is grounded in full availability, respect, presence, and informed care, so you can feel supported, confident, and in control of your choices

Personalized
Care

I take time to truly understand you. Your values, your concerns, and your hopes for birth all matter here. I provide clear, up-to-date information and thoughtful preparation so you can explore your options without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
My support is tailored to your unique journey, helping you feel confident, seen, and supported every step of the way.

Evidence-Based
Guidance

I offer more than reassurance. I provide clear, science-based information so you can understand your options with confidence. Research shows that continuous doula support is associated with lower intervention rates and greater birth satisfaction.
My role is to help you feel informed, grounded, and empowered so every decision reflects your values and your voice.

Continuous
Emotional Support

You deserve steady presence, not just information. I remain available before, during, and after birth, offering calm reassurance and compassionate listening when emotions feel intense or uncertain.
Continuous support helps you feel safer, more regulated, and more confident throughout labor and recovery.

Woman-Centered
Approach

You are not a protocol. You are a whole person with instincts, intuition, and a voice that deserves to be heard. I support informed consent, respectful communication, and aligned decision-making.
Every choice is yours. My role is to stand beside you so you feel respected, confident, and fully in control of your birth experience.

My role is not to control your birth.
My role is to support you through it.

What It Means to Feel Supported in Birth

Every pregnancy is different.
Support should feel personal, steady, and truly helpful for you and your family.

Whether this is your first baby or your tenth, pregnancy and birth bring new emotions, decisions, and moments where having the right support can make all the difference.

You feel confident in your decisions

New symptoms, new emotions, and new questions can feel like a lot. I help you slow down, understand your options, and make decisions with clarity and confidence so you feel steady and supported from pregnancy to postpartum.

You feel understood and heard

Communication changes everything. I support families in English and Portuguese, helping you feel understood, emotionally safe, and confident expressing your needs within the healthcare system.

You feel more confident every step of the way

Whether at home, in a birth center, or in the hospital, labor can feel intense and unpredictable. I help you stay grounded through comfort techniques, clear explanations, and steady presence so you can move through each stage with more confidence and less fear.

Your partner feels confident and supported too

Birth affects the whole family. I guide partners with practical comfort tools and calm reassurance so you can move through labor as a more connected, confident team.

Support is not about taking control.
It is about helping you feel safe, informed, and steady in every moment of your birth journey.

How My Support Looks Across Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum?

From the first questions to the first contractions, I stay close, so you feel calm, informed, and supported the way every mother deserves.

Trained Birth Doula serving Raleigh and the surrounding areas.

A calm, step-by-step journey of support.

Before We Begin
A Free Conversation to Connect

This is simply a free conversation with me, which can happen through a video call or an in-person meeting.

It is a space for you to talk about what you are experiencing, the questions that may be coming up, and what kind of support would feel most helpful for you as you prepare for birth.

You are welcome to bring your partner if you’d like. This journey often feels lighter when it is shared.

There is no pressure to decide anything during this conversation. The intention is simply to create ease, clarity, and connection, so you can feel whether working together feels right for you.

What Support Looks Like
Understanding your needs during pregnancy

Pregnancy is not only about preparing for birth. It is also about feeling supported as new questions arise and emotions shift along the way.

Throughout your pregnancy, I offer steady guidance, thoughtful conversations, and evidence-based information so you can feel more confident in your choices.

I also provide perinatal support sessions, including in-person classes, to help you prepare for labor with more clarity and calm. We talk through what labor may look like, practice comfort measures and coping techniques, and explore how to communicate your needs during birth.

Partners are welcome and encouraged to take part, because when both of you feel informed and connected, support becomes more natural and effective.

As labor approaches, I also help you recognize early signs of labor and feel more confident about when it may be time to go to the hospital.

My Differentiator
Community, Learning & Ongoing Support

One of the things that makes this experience different is the sense of community and connection that grows around it.

During pregnancy, I help the mothers I support feel that they are not walking this journey alone. Many families stay connected through a private WhatsApp group, where moms can share questions, experiences, and encouragement with others who are in a similar stage of life.

Whenever possible, I also organize small gatherings and relaxed coffee meetups, creating opportunities to connect in person and learn from local professionals who share knowledge and answer questions about pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.

Over time, many of the families I support build meaningful relationships with one another. What begins as preparation for birth often becomes a supportive circle that continues beyond pregnancy.

Especially for families living far from relatives, this sense of community, belonging, and shared experience can make the transition into parenthood feel lighter and more supported.

When Labor Begins
Labor & Birth

During labor and birth, my role is to be a calm and continuous presence by your side.

I offer emotional reassurance, physical comfort measures, and grounding support as labor unfolds, helping you feel steady and supported in each moment.

I stay with you throughout your entire birth, no matter how long it takes. If your plan changes, including a cesarean, I remain close, continuing to support you and waiting for you when hospital policies do not allow me in the operating room.

I only leave once you and your baby are together, safe, and settled, so you never feel alone during this experience.

I do not make decisions for you or direct your birth. My role is to support your voice, your choices, and your experience, exactly as you want it to be.

After Baby Arrives
After Birth (Postpartum)

After birth, support continues.

This is a time of adjustment, recovery, and many emotions, and it deserves care and attention. Postpartum support offers space to process your birth experience, ask questions, and receive reassurance as you settle into this new phase.

Whenever possible, I stay connected through anpostpartum visit, offering a moment of care, conversation, and support as you begin life with your baby.

I also remain close through our WhatsApp communication, staying in touch with the families I have supported during pregnancy and birth, so you always know you can reach out if questions or emotions arise.

There is no right or wrong way to feel after birth. You deserve to feel supported, seen, and cared for as you find your rhythm as a new family.

Let’s talk about your birth, your questions, and the kind of support that will feel right for you.

Birth is not only something you experience.
It is something you carry with you forever.

FAQ

Clear answers about how my support works and what to expect. Couldn't find the answer for your questions? Click here to see my FAQ.

Do you support home births?

I'm very flexible.
I attend homebirths, birth centers and hospital births.

What is the perinatal education you offer, and how does it help me prepare for labor?

It is a personalized preparation for your birth.
During our sessions, I help you understand your body and how it works during labor, what to expect in each stage, and what your options are in the hospital setting.
We also go over comfort techniques, positions, and ways to cope with contractions, so you feel more confident when the moment comes.
The goal is not to make everything perfect.
It is to help you feel prepared, informed, and able to make decisions with calmer and clarity during your birth to have the best experience possible in that moment.

When should I book you as my doula?

As early as you feel ready.
I work one-on-one and provide continuous support. So I take a limited number of births each month. This allows me to be fully present for each family without risking schedule conflicts.
Birth does not follow an exact date, so I carefully space my availability to make sure I can truly be there for you when the time comes.
If you feel connected to my approach, it is best to reach out early in your pregnancy to secure your spot.
This way, we can plan everything with calm, and you can move forward knowing your support is already in place.

Do you help me create a birth plan?

Yes.
I help you build a birth plan that reflects your preferences, your values, and what matters most to you.
More than just a document, it is a way for you to understand your options and feel more confident in your decisions.

Do you support only vaginal births?

No.
Many of the women I support hope for a vaginal birth, and I help them prepare for that with intention.
At the same time, I respect that birth can take different paths. If a cesarean becomes necessary, I continue supporting you so you feel informed, calm, and emotionally supported.
Your support does not change based on how your baby is born.
